Hello

Edenvale Farm is our home, our farm and a little patch of the world we've fallen completely in love with.

Set amongst 90 acres of rolling pasture and native bushland in Nethercote on the Far South Coast of NSW, Edenvale is home to our registered fold of Scottish Highland cattle, along with goats, donkeys, chickens, guinea fowl, abundant wildlife — and us, Robyn and Josh.

Our Story

For Robyn, the dream of a life surrounded by cattle started long before Edenvale Farm.

Her father once owned a large cattle station north of Marble Bar in Western Australia's Pilbara, where she spent time growing up and discovered a love of station life, working with cattle and being in the country.

At 21, a trip to Scotland introduced her to Scottish Highland cattle for the first time. It was love at first sight, and she knew that one day she wanted Highlands of her own.

More than two decades later, that dream became a reality at Edenvale Farm. In fact, Robyn couldn't quite wait for settlement — around three weeks before taking ownership of the farm, she'd already bought her first three Highlands: two heifers and a bull. Watching them walk off the truck and down the race for the first time remains one of those unforgettable, dream-come-true moments.

Josh grew up in rural England and, while he didn't come from a farming or animal background, country life has always felt familiar. At Edenvale Farm, he's turned his hand to just about everything — building stables, helping with the animals and constructing much of our Tiny House, along with the endless building, fixing and creating that comes with farm life.

Together, we've shaped Edenvale Farm into our home, as well as home for our beloved animals, and a place we're very proud to share with others.
